Wilson Navas is the founder and owner of Certified Lions FC, Oklahoma City's rapidly growing indoor soccer club. With a background in general contracting and a deep passion for community development, Navas has transformed the Lions into a professionally run organization that empowers local talent and raises the standard of arena soccer in the region.

Wilson Navas is the founder and owner of Certified Lions FC, Oklahoma City's rapidly growing indoor soccer club. With a background in general contracting and a deep passion for community development, Navas has transformed the Lions into a professionally run organization that empowers local talent and raises the standard of arena soccer in the region.

Under his leadership, Certified Lions FC won the PASL title and earned promotion to MASL2. In 2025, Navas secured a game-changing home arena deal at the OG&E Coliseum — a bold move positioning the Lions as a future MASL1 contender.

Navas is also the visionary behind Oklahoma City’s first-ever MASL Player Combine, giving young players a pathway to the professional game. He believes in building infrastructure, developing athletes, and earning the respect of the city by delivering excellence on and off the field.

Steve Scott brings over 30 years of leadership in soccer to Certified Lions FC. As Director of Operations, he leads the club’s infrastructure, ensuring that every detail — from training sessions to match days — runs at a professional standard.

Steve Scott brings over 30 years of leadership in soccer to Certified Lions FC. As Director of Operations, he leads the club’s infrastructure, ensuring that every detail — from training sessions to match days — runs at a professional standard.

A former coach and player at Oklahoma Christian University, Steve has spent decades shaping soccer in Oklahoma. His experience spans coaching, logistics, team management, and athletic operations, making him a vital figure in the club’s continued growth.

In his role, Steve:

  • Oversees all game-day and training operations

  • Supports the coaching staff with scheduling, player prep, and game logistics

  • Manages equipment, team travel, and league compliance

  • Leads strategic operations for youth development and club expansion

Steve is a proven leader with unmatched organization and dedication. His vision and attention to detail help power Certified Lions FC as we build the future of professional indoor soccer in Oklahoma City.

Thomas Siranga joins Certified Lions FC as Assistant Coach and Player Scouter, bringing a rich blend of international playing experience and deep regional coaching insight to the club.

Playing & academic background

  • Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Siranga moved to the U.S. and played collegiate soccer at Lindsey Wilson University in Kentucky.

  • Prior to that, he competed with Tusker Football Club in Kenya between 1999‑2001.

  • He later played at Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma during 2003‑2004.

Coaching & scouting experience

  • Served as Graduate Assistant for the men’s program at Southern Nazarene University in 2005.

  • Spent many years coaching youth teams with the Oklahoma Celtic Football Club (formerly Yukon Soccer Club) through 2022.

  • Holds a US National D License.

Role & contributions at Certified Lions FC
In his dual role, Thomas will:

  • Assist the head coach in planning and executing training sessions, tactical preparations, and match‑day support.

  • Lead the club’s scouting efforts for indoor‑soccer‑appropriate players in the local region and beyond—identifying and evaluating talent that aligns with the club’s mission of offering local athletes a professional pathway.

  • Support player development programs and help bridge the transition from amateur to semi‑professional/indoor levels, bringing his colloquial knowledge of the Oklahoma soccer ecosystem to bear.

  • Serve as a key liaison between the coaching staff, recruitment department, and community outreach initiatives, helping to build the club’s reputation and talent pipeline.

Ricky Cabello joins Certified Lions FC as our Goalkeeper Advisor, bringing a robust foundation of goalkeeper development, training expertise, and strategic insight to our club’s indoor and outdoor programs.

Background & Expertise

  • Hometown: Oklahoma City, OK. 

  • Collegiate Goalkeeper at Southern Nazarene University, where he started games, recorded multiple saves, and set notable performances in goal. 

  • Director of Goalkeeping for Oklahoma Cosmos (Goalkeeper Camps) and active in top‑level goalkeeper camps in the region. 

  • Recognized in coaching and development networks as a strong private goalkeeper coach in Oklahoma.

  • Goalkeeper trainer at recognizable universities as MACU during 2011-2013 and UCO during 2023 season

Role at Certified Lions FC
In his role as Goalkeeper Advisor Rick will:

  • Develop and oversee the goalkeeper training curriculum across our indoor/futsal and arena‑soccer programs.

  • Mentor our goalkeepers with individualized performance plans: shot‑stopping, positioning, distribution, mental game, and indoor‑specific tactics.

  • Collaborate with our coaching and operations staff to integrate goalkeeping standards into team strategy, match preparation, and scouting.

  • Support our recruitment of goalkeepers suited for the indoor arena game, strengthening our talent pool as we scale up.
